Speidel Hydro Wine Press 90L
Speidel Hydro Wine Press 90L. I used an old school wine press for many years with my father. During the summer we had some parts go missing from the old reliable wooden press. So I decided to check out the “new age” wine making equipment. I had already stepped up my game by upgrading my fathers old manual grape crusher to motorized grape destemmer so I thought their must be an upgrade to the grape squeezing process. Well do not look no further! This Speidel press is everything you would expect from German design. The press has a rubber balloon in the middle of the basket.
The press uses water to fill the rubber bladder. A friend of mine had some thoughts that the water pressure coming from my house might not be strong enough to inflate the bladder so he thought why not use air pressure. I had seen some larger wine presses using air pressure but when I had asked the company why this press was a water filled bladder rather than air filled, they told me filling with air pressure was too dangerous and happens too quick.
Well after giving it some thought we decided to go against that. We hooked an air compressor that we SET TO 3atm. 3atm is the pressure setting on the blow off valve on the unit. By setting your air compressor to the same setting you are guaranteeing that you won’t fill your bladder with an excess amount of air that could damage your press. Yes even though the press has a blow off valve we still wanted to be extra cautious.
Once we opened the valve on the press we immediately do the juices flowing. Their are a few important things to remember when pressing with air.
1. Keep an eye on your gauge
2. Open the valve just enough to hear air filling the bladder. After about a minute you will start to see juices flowing.
3. When I mean open the valve a crack I mean a tiny bit. Bladder presses do tend to give you more yield but you need to go smooth and slow.
4. My press filled to 90L took about 15-20min to press.
5. Because it went by so much faster I pressed my must one more time at the end. I gained an extra 3gl. Not a large amount but it only took another 20min.
6. The nice part of using Air pressure is not having to deal with hoses and water leaking. The normal setup would require a water supply hose and a hose for the drainage of the bladder. With the air pressure all you need is you air line. Once you open the drain valve the air shoots out within a few seconds.
So to sum up this press is the real deal.

Backyard Ice Rink Noise Complaint

So i build this great backyard ice rink and my neighbor calls the cops saying I am making too much noise when i skate on it. The officer came to the house 40min prior about the complaint. So we turned most of the lights down and stopped using the puck. Apparently the neighbor could still hear us skating.

this is my third year making the rink. this year i decided to go a bit smaller than the previous. last years rink was 28x48. this year we have slimmed down to 24x36. i went with (2) 2x10x12 on the ends and (2) 2x12x18 on the sides. we braced them together and put multiple brackets on the corners. white tarp is a most. the plywood you use is help with the gentle slope i have in the yard. Next ye...
Gino likes the rink.
Beautiful place and thanks for sharing.
Nice preparing of food and sending my support.
Formal dinning as it should be
Too far off camera to get details.
Terrible vid
That w was messed up though ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I just saw a video of a razr maxx in a bathtub ...if no other similar phones come out...this will be my next.
If I take a shower with my droid razr maxx, will it be ok afterwards?
That is water RESISTANT.......water PROOF is submersible
cool i live close to the gas station!!!
water test video, thanks for posting and by the way it was sexy how it was waterproof
that was sexy how its waterproof
nie
is it still working by now? thanks. :)
put yours in a pool and tell me how it works mine wont power
Look at my youtube channel kiodiekin
should read how to destroy my parents grass in the back yard ..and run the water bill up ..
What network was it on?
this is not even close to being a how to video
Very weak test. Watch my test to see a real submerged cell phone
Jeez, putting 'Win the lottery' would've been a bigger help!
Coll
it only has the screen messing up becuz of the sensitive screeen
Phone works perfectly fine. I've soaked it a few more times since then as well. Get the razr Maxx
@anthonyrulz12 no it's p2i's
Is this liquipel's coating?
blue tarps suck compared to 6 mil plastic.
U don't know how to drive
if the guy new how to use a FEL he would be out.
I pinned 2x6 boards with spikes into the ground to build the wall up.
how did u attach the boards and keep them staying up
You should rethink the title
would it be easier to use 4'white PVC for the boarder ..You could break it apart in the spring...never tried to build one though...NICE JOB!
where did you get a tarp like this???
Gobagoola! Nothing like a bunch of Paisanos getting together for some sausage making. Good video...Ciao!
i did not need to heat it up, it was cold enough outside, and i only spread a small layer of water on the rink
Can you not just buy a paddle pool or something thats like a foot or more deep then put water in it and wait for it to freeze?
how do you heat up the water?
thank god they finally got freaking hardware acceleration! I was about to jump ship on android because of how stupid google was being by releasing dual cores and all this fancy new hardware that cannot be taken advantage of
when the temperature was in the low teens for a few nights i did 4 layers a night. i had an average of about 4" of solid white ice..definately use a white or clear tarp, the blue absorbs heat. not good
Cool
@JareduPS Awesome, also i wanted to ask if a smooth touch is enough for screen to respond or needs a harder poke,
